LumiSense® nanosensitizers are the proprietary consumables that enable photoporation-based intracellular delivery. Two main nanoparticle families are available: LumiSense® LS1, based on inorganic materials, and LumiSense® LS2, based on organic materials. For plasmid DNA delivery we have developed a new particle LumiSense® PS1A. Within each family, different particle sizes are available and are indicated by a letter designation, where A represents a smaller particle size than B, B is smaller than C, and so forth.

Because intracellular delivery performance can depend on the cell type, payload, and application, multiple LumiSense® variants are available to support different use cases.
